Averofio Agro-Food Technology Park of Thessaly

The Averofio Agro-Food Technology Park of Thessaly (AB.ATE.PA.TH.) was founded in 2019 (Law, 4589/2019 (AD 13), article 24) and was formed administratively and academically after a decision of the Senate from 2021 ( Coll. No. 252 / 28.05.2021).
The seat of the Park is Larissa and the university complex Gaiopolis.
The main goal of the Averofio Agro-Food Park is to enhance the transfer of know-how and the interconnection of research conducted within the institution with society and entrepreneurship.
With respect to the long agri-food tradition of the Thessalian plain, we aim at connecting innovation and tradition and supporting economic, social and cultural development potentials at local, regional and national level.
